The Quality Care Action Group

Quality Care Action Group is made up of parents and support network members who have loved ones and friends receiving services from the government’s Community Living Disability Services program (CLDS). CLDS funds day service programs and community living residences for qualifying adults. This Action Group meets as needed to discuss concerns related to our loved ones’ quality of life. Currently this group is advocating for Quality Assurance and Best Practice Standard for Direct Support Workers as well as harm reduction policies and practices to avert tragic and fatal incidents.
